Hello I have spent some times with asterisknow and Trixbox how to link up with another IP Pbx such as like mitel mn3300, NEC SV8100 and Avaya IPO. Asterisknow failed to communicate via h323 protocol even after chan_ooh323.so installed. I tried with Trixbox 2.8.0.4. It very simple and quite easy set-up the IP link with any of above IP Pbx.
In trixbox site once you installed and updated all those modules just go to the "config file editor" and modify ooh323.conf file. you may only need to modify the codec allow order if your pbx and trixbox are in same subnet LAN.
Once you upload the conffig and re-set the trixbox go and add the custom trunk and outbound route for your custome trunks. Now you should be able to send and receive active voice calls between your IP Pbx and trixbox ce. Incoming external calls to trixbox also work.
Only issue is outbound external call from Trixbox will not pick up the outbound trunk from the IP-Pbx to to dial out. I don't know why I have google it but most of the setting which mention in any web site are very old and not up to date.
I know Skyking said serveral time trixbox use the 3rd party supportted chan_ooh323.so file. I just want to find out from anyone who have linked up with any of the following IP Pbx with trixbox and mange to amke outbound calls.
MN3300, NEC SV 8100 and Avaya IPO.
