is there any non-outdated document for howto setup the X100P card on trixbox?

reading Trixbox-2 Without Tears says to install zaptel but here:

says Zaptel was replaced with DAHDI years ago
plus the zaptel package conflicts with dahdi package(s)

but some other posts in this forum keep sending people to read this """no tears""" document for installing X100P
this is the second day searching without result...........

so how to setup a X100P card on trixbox?

x100p's are not supported in

x100p's are not supported in DAHDI. They are truly junk anyway, just modems repurposed.

You don't even say what version of trixbox you are running. Both trixbox versions have not been updated in quite awhile. 2.6 uses Zaptel and will support your card, just follow the guide and run setup-pstn.

2.8 includes DAHDI and there is a ton of DAHDI documentation on the web.

You said Trixbox 2.6 uses Zaptel, does that mean "trixbox CE 2.6.2.3 (Stable)" or does it have to be an earlier version?
