Inbound DID route to outbound Trunk question

I have a trunk with Voipstreet that serves a few DID's.
One of the DID's I would like to route differently than the others.
When a specific inbound DID hits trixbox, I would like it to be routed to an outbound trunk.
I understand how an extension can use a specific trunk, but not how an inbound call can be routed back out a different trunk.

upgrade freepbx to a recent

upgrade freepbx to a recent version. that option has been in freepbx for a while.

2.6.2.3 is a trixbox version

2.6.2.3 is a trixbox version not a FreePBX. trixbox is based on a 2.5 a very old version of FreePBX. The current FreePBX version is 2.9 and there are many threads on how to unfork trix. However unless you have a complex config it is easier to simply install from scratch.
