Hello everyone.

I want to create a small pbx for my office and after lots of research i decided to use trixbox.

I have networking experience but no experience at all with VOIP and PBX, so please bear with me.

While gathering the hardware that i m going to use, a TE405P card came to my possession.
I know that the card was used for connecting E1 (PRI) lines, but my provider is giving me BRI lines.

I researched about this but couldn't find for sure if i can use this card to connect my BRI lines with the trixbox.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

In case you need more informetion, please let me know.

Thank you very much in advance.

The electrical interface of

The electrical interface of a BRI is not the same as a PRI . You should be able to sell the 405 on eBay and buy a BRI card from Openvox and a weekend out of town with the money left over.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Unfortunately you confirmed what was my initial thought on the issue.

p.s.
I will consider your advice of selling the card and buying a compatible one, and of course going out of town for a weekend with the rest of the money ;).
