Good morning i need to connect a fax with asterik so How can I do this. I need the step to configure my asterik to send the fax to email.

Well, I will be the naysayer and tell you not to do it. The reliability is simply not there. Now matter what I have tried, I have never achieved better than a 75% success rate which is simply unacceptable for any business. I prefer the Faxxbochs solution. Its cheaper than a phone line per month, connects directly to your fax machine, and has fax to email. I have had 100% success with this at multiple locations now.

Try with hylafax - http://www.hylafax.org. Use the package that is in trixbox, but the documentation from original site.

After two long years we have finally gotten FoIP to work 100% of the time, with one caveat - a Brother fax machine. I'm ECSTATIC!!

What other settings did you use with the Brother Fax? I have a Brother Fax machine but after many attempts concluded that it was so unreliable that I couldn't use it. Even when it worked the speeds were much slower than on regular line and it often didn't work. Not cool for a business, and not near 100%.
