hi , i would like to create a custom linux appliance based on trixobx . here is the situation:

I have installed trixbox 2.8 and then on top of that i have been installing many softwares over the time ( like billing , GUI , many packages etc.) and now it has come to a quite stable stage. the problem is i have to move this installation to another machine with different hardware. even have to install it on multiple systems. the idea is to create a bootable linux iso of the current machine with all the softwares so i can simply put it in a different machine and make it install and run without much fuss. (just like installing trixbox for the first time)

i am looking for a way to create a linux appliance from my current installation of centos so i can move it to any other machine and make it run . is there any guideline on how the trixbox CE linux appliance is created?

Regards,
Khan

You need to build your own

You need to build your own kickstart files for Anaconda and work with spec files and the RPM facilities.

Anything else is just a hack.
