My parents are deaf and they use a VRS service (specifically Sorenson VRS, i believe it stands for video relay service) which allows them to talk to other VRS devices and they can video call an interpreter to reach a hearing person. Unfortunately to get one of these devices you have to be deaf or hard of hearing. They have software that you can use but i would like to tie it into my media center PC. I found a plugin for Vista Media Center Video phone that allows you to use it within media center and with a remote.

I found out that alot of those devices use the H.323 protocol and in order to receive a phone call your IP address or phone number need to be the iTRS database. I guess my question is has anyone setup anything like this? I guess i would have to use SIP for vista media center video phone and setup a h.323 trunk to a provider.

Thanks in advance
