Please Help. I have a Cisco 7940 phone and I am tring to use SCCP instead of SIP. It is getting the SEP file and then I started getting errors on the phone like "File not found.....tones.xml" and others. With a little research I created empty files and it moved on but now its looking for Glyphs.xml and putting an empty one just gives me an error of "Error Updating Locale" and at the bottom of the phone it shows "Bad Glyph File" What tells the phone to get these files and do I even need them. Is there a sample glyph.xml file that I just can't find or is there a way around it. For some reason I thought the 7940G didn't need these files. I appreciate any help and can give you any info you need, just let me know. I have searched everywhere before asking too :) Thanks in advance.
