Call forward All from Cisco Endpoint (new style)

Hi,

I am running into a weird issue where, even though the Cisco phone is configured correctly like all other phones, the call forward button doesn't seem to work properly. Basically when i hit call-foward-all it tries to send a DIAL_NUMBER=x-cisco-serviceuri-cfwdall-NUMBER to the phone system, which in turn doesn't recognize the x-cisco-serviceuri-cfwdall command and just seems to pass it to the outbound trunk.

Anyone have any ideas? This seems to be happening with the new 7975/9971/9951 phones.

Try Changing you config file

You could try changing the config file

modify the call forwarding line to this

x--serviceuri-cfwdall

Not sure it would help but that used to work on the 7941's

i have tried

i have tried x--serviceuri-cfwdall as well as x-serviceuri-cfwdall and X-serviceuri-cfwdall.. some how asterisk doesn't know what to do with the messages what are sent.

The older phones like the 7970/7971's would work and send a SIP 302 / Temporarily moved message, but the new ones are actually trying to send a message to asterisk to change the forward like *72 does.. i have tried messing with using *72 .. however *72 isn't a toggle so it's a problem.
