Daily backup stop working while can still do manual backup (NOW).
Please help. THX
Well, this backup problem is real pain. And there is not too much about it if forums.
Can you please post some information about your system for us? Here are some things that would be useful in troubleshooting your problem:
1) free diskspace and total disk space (df -h /)
2) What kind of hard drive you are using.
3) What you did before this stopped working (change any settings?)
Thanks! We'll get this issue resolved :)

MST:
Are there NO backups in your /var/lib/asterisk/backups/ folder? Also, can you please see if the folder /backups/ exists? If so, check inside there, and see if you have backups.
On another note, have you updated any packages on the command line? For example, did you at any point to a yum -y update?
Thanks!

Sorry for confiusion. There are other folders in var/lib/asterisk/backups/ like /var/lib/asterisk/backups/main schedule and a bunch of *tar.gz
Also there are manual backups like /var/lib/asterisk/backups/03042009 and 03042009.tar.gz Yes I can see them. Regarding yum -y update ohhh honestly I don remeber if I did yum -y update. If not should I do?
Cheers,
MST
I ask about the yum -y update thing because it is known to break trixbox packages. DO NOT DO A yum -y update!!! Check your /root/.bash_history file and see if you performed a yum -y update in the past; if so, we may have to get a little dirty fixing it >:D

Hmm Yes I found only a couple of yum update
Most of them were done after fresh isntallation.

Regarding HDD we have
02:02.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec AIC-7899P U160/m (rev 01)
02:02.1 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec AIC-7899P U160/m (rev 01)
I think it does not matter at this time.

The next step would be to try and uninstall tbm-backup and then reinstall it.
yum remove tbm-backup yum install tbm-backup
See if this fixes it. If this is not the issue you may have deeper problems. It could be anything from permissions (eg: you can no longer write to your crontrab), your crontab may have an issue, or it may be a side effect of the yum updates you have done in the past on your server, in which case you will most likely need to reinstall.
