ethernet interfaces not routing

Hi,

we've recently purchased a trixbox appliance with a T1 sangoma card. The PRI line was recently activated and that seemed to work ok, but after doing a recent yum update, which installed:

httpd-2.2.3-43.el5.centos.3.i386
tbm-GUIcore-2.6.2.5-1.noarch
mod_ssl-2.2.3-43.el5.centos.3.i386
ipsec-tools-0.6.5014.el5_5.5.i386

and then rebooting, neither the LAN or WAN will ping outside their assigned ip addresses. It just returns Destination Host Unreachable.

The routing table is correct and hasn't changed.

They were working fine before the reboot and before that I did a large update from the factory installed 2.6.2.2 to 2.6.2.3 with no problems (apart from having to --skip-broken the memcached problem).

Is there a way to factory reset the box? Can I re-install from an iso using a usb optical drive? Will the current 2.8.0.4 work with this box (including the lcd display on the front)?

TIA

*SOLVED*

Problem solved.

Doing a hard reboot cleared the interfaces.

A soft 'reboot' from the console wasn't good enough. In fact, the kernel panicked on the third attempt which forced me to switch it off.
