Getting permission Denied errors.

I have an install of tb2.8.0.2 Everything was fine for the longest time but now issues have cropped up since about 4 days ago. First off, log files are not being written to. I went to look at /var/log/asterisk/full and it had 0 bytes in it, and calls have been going to the system all day. I did a chmod 666 on full and now it is being written to. I also noticed that when trying to ring extensions/groups, I get permission denied on /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/recordingcheck. I go into that directory and chmod everything to 777 and it works fine. However if I do a reload from FreePbx, all the permissions change and nothing works anymore. I am stumped and have no idea where to start looking.
