Currently I am runnign Asterisk@home 2.8 and I have tried to install the Asterisk h323 addon. It came up saying that it had installed succesffully but how do check.

Is it possible in the future to develop the tribox product with H323 support built in as standard. I am sure a lot of people would like a very easy method of bringing SIP and H323 together, using such an easy interface like Asterisk.

Re: H323 Support

I have to agree that H.323 support should be a part of the basic system. Getting H.323 to work in the previous AAH has been a downright nightmare.

Re: H323 Support

I can't get it to run on trixbox.. Already on A@H you had to go to the /usr/src/asterisk/channels/h323 and make it and then
go to /usr/srx/asterisk and do a "make install"..

With TrixBox, there IS NO /usr/src/asterisk.. in fact I searched the hd for everything, and there are NO source files!!

Can anybody pls help me on this, thanks!!!!

Re: H323 Support

What did you download to get the H323 working, was it the addon or the seperate OpenH323 package.

Cheers

OOH323 is built into trixbox. See the H.323 forum...
