It is so weird, I changed the switches in between, I changed cable even swapped hardware but the load I'm running (2.6.2) is having consistent bad checksum's too. what is happening is when a re-invite is issued when a call comes off of hold intermittently the INVITE from the handset on occasion is the packet with the bad checksum so it doesn't get processed there fore resulting in one way audio issues. To me because I've exhausted physical layer connections, there's got to be a hardware compatibility issue either with the nic or the nic driver and how it interfaces with the IP Stack.
I'm getting a gazillion checksum errors when I do a tcpdump.

I wish I could show you a screenshot.

Any relief in site fellas, i'm wracked and need assistance ASAP

Polycom

They're Polycom IP430's. The Trixbox is on the WAN, however with no sip or registrations doing a tcpdump I see bad checksums on tcp & udp traffic. the platform is a Dell SC1425, and to me it has to be NIC related, I've even tried a different server and the same issue. Very Very Odd as I'm on a Level3 Internet connection via Ethernet Peering and Connected to Foundry Switches of which I've looked there and no errors on other devices to other ports. I switched to other switches, cables, re-terminated but still BAD UDP Checksum errors.

So here's what I decided to do is, I just for kicks, put AsteriskNOW on the box, . . . Still bad UDP Checksums. I assume it's NIC related because of all of those reasons, problem is, there's nothing at CentOS's site or anywhere about how to work with Intel Corporation 82541GI Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 05) which is on this box.

Any suggestions would be welcome!!!
