This is extra spare box in case of emergency, but I have noticed hight RAM utilization 92%

[root@asterisk~]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 2024 1861 163 0 54 1641
-/+ buffers/cache: 165 1859
Swap: 760 0 760

There is only 1 polycom phone connected to that server. Is it normal in Linux to eat so much RAM ?

They all say the same thing. This is how linux works, its much more effcient use of ram. Trixbox is misleading by making the bar red as it does signify there is a problem, but really there isn't. This question does get asked about once a week (although it has been a while since i last saw it), hence the responses.
