I'm happily running 2.6.7 with FreePBX 2.5

Not sure what got into me but thought I'd take a look at the Gizmo5 module, didn't really think it would be a big deal.

On returning to the FreePBX admin area I find Fonality have took over with their pbx bullshit.

Is there a easy way back ?

The worst part of this is I was looking for info on making a full backup with Acronis when I stumbled on the Gizmo info and thought I'd try it lol.

I tried the FreePBX upgrade tool and get this

Errors with selection:

* 2.5 Upgrade Tool cannot be installed:
o A FreePBX version below 2.5.0alpha1 is required, you have 2.5.1
Please correct this error first.

so does this mean FreePBX is still there, I just need to make pbxconfig go away ?

Try this cd /usr/src/ wget

Try this
cd /usr/src/
wget http://mirror.freepbx.org/freepbx-2.5.1.tar.gz
tar zxvf freepbx-2.5.1.tar.gz
cd freepbx-2.5.1
./start_asterisk start
./install_amp

This will replace the 'forked' version of FreePBX with the true one.
And of course, it will have a backup module in it.
