....but the following files are not showing up in /etc/asterisk (or anywhere else for that matter)
vm-email.inc
vm-general.inc
voicemail.conf
Zapata-auto.conf
Zapata.conf
Zapata_additional.conf

However, when doing a #setup-pstn, all the pstn ports are recognized and configured as seen below:

Sooooooooo, the system see's the FXO ports.......but no zapata.conf, zapata-auto.conf file's?
I do have a zaptel.conf file though.......
The reason this concerns me, is because I did a mock install in my office, and I did see the zapata.conf, zapata-auto.conf file's, but needed to comment out ;include zapata-auto.conf in the "zapata.conf"...this way the zapata-auto.conf file is not referenced and whenever the system is rebooted it will not erase all i've configured and revert back to the default configuration.

update....any help out there?

note that the following info show's in the above paste from the install:
Checking for zapata-auto.conf
Creating symlink for zapata-auto.conf
In: creating symolic link '/etc/asterisk/zapata-auto.conf' to '/etc/asterisk/zapata-channels.conf': File exists

so the zapata-auto.conf file exists somewhere, but there is no zapapta-channels.conf file to be found anywhere. Is it a hidden file? Also, I did an experiment, and rebooted the system. And all of my configuration stayed, unlike when I did the build in the office, where the -auto.conf file kept defaulting the config settings back to the initial configuration. Man, I am sooooooooooooo confused. Any help out there?

ANSwERED....

ok, what I failed to post was the fact that whenever I would do a Reload to update my changes, the browser would freeze....but when I would open a new browser, my configuration changes were fine, so I didn't think that was a significant piece of information. So, the other day, I put my laptop on the network to browse to the Trixbox (i use a Mac, btw, and MEN use Macs, :) )
anyway, as I did a reload, no browser freeze, and Voila, the zapata.conf & the zapata-auto.conf files finally appeared in the "config editor".......sorry, I don't have a technical answer for this, but it would seem that the networks browser (or the particular PC that I was using) had a problem with the Trixbox interface.
