Installed Digium's g729. Do I need to enable basic codecs in the Aastra 9133i phone and allow g729 for the extension to be able to record both sides of a call? What happens now is that the voice of the person called is recorded on outbound calls. Thanks.

Enabled basic codecs for the 9133i and in sip.conf but now when trying to record a call from the 9133i the calling party at the 9133i can't be heard. I've got *1 set up on a speed dial button which starts the recording everytime. But now after starting recording the called party an't hear the calling party. I tested this on a soft phone (Zoiper BIZ) with g729 and it worked ok for recording and conversation. What's the issue with the 9133i?
