Not sure where I have to update to get the newer model phones in my endpoint manager.

I have an IP6000 phone and the model is not in the list of my Polycom phones.

Trixbox CE and IP6000 answer????

Did anyone ever get ana answer to this question? I too am interested in the IP6000 an I see several Polycom phones listed including IP4000 but not the 6000. I need to have a better feeling about making this phone work with Trixbox CE /Asterisk before I give up the cash!

Anyone

Just Use The IP 4000 Configuration

We're using the Polycom IP 6000 with Trixbox CE 2.6.2.x. Just use the IP 4000 configuration and edit anything that doesn't seem to want to work. That's what we did.

The only thing I ran into is it doesn't want to update the firmware, automatically. We do have an IP 4000, elsewhere, and I've left the configuration and firmware files in place for that reason. I believe the IP 6000 doesn't like the sip.ld file and won't upgrade. That's the only issue I have, at the moment, and it's not a problem.

Very nice phone, by the way...
