When our switchboard performs a blind transfer to an internal extension, the caller ID of the incoming call is preserved, which is great. However, I'd like to be able to prefix this caller ID so that people will know that it isn't a direct call to their extension. Is there a way to do this?

Our calls into our switchboard come in on a queue and we add a cid prefix to the queue. Then when it gets transferred the prefix is still attached so others know it came from the main switchboard.

I needed to set up a queue for my switchboard anyway and just hadn't gotten around to it. This is the perfect solution for me. Thanks for such a quick response. I really appreciate it.
