Routing SIP through a load balanced router

I have a checkpoint edge firewall/router box connected to 2 ADSL lines with static IP's. The edge box is configured for load balancing (i only have 0.7m adsl download speed on each line).

When i make a call using voip the audio stops partway through the conversation (not always, but quite frequently). I believe that the SIP packets on port 5060 are working ok (i.e. there is no disruption of the call just loss of audio), but others in the 10000 to 20000 are being switched from one line to another partway through the call (i have no packet sniffers, etc so i'm not sure about this). My knowledge of the edge box is limited and I cannot work out how to force traffic from trixbox specifically down one adsl line (works fine if i switch off load balancing), certainly allowing that kind of configuration from the edge GUI does not seem possible.

Is there any way i can do this in Trixbox or can anybody recommend a different router/firewall solution that allows such a configuration?

Routing SIP through a load balanced router

Sorry - forgot to mention - for external traffic UDP ports 10000 to 10050 are forwarded in the firewall to Trixbox and rtp.conf is modded to work within that port range.

use routing in the router

i am not familiar with this particular brand of router, however i have used a netgear dual wan router in a load balancing mode. You need to map devices to wan connections. so for example, you have 6 phones, map or route 3 of those over one wan and the rest over the other lan. as a general rule, dual wan routers are not able to track a conversation and keep everything pertaining to that conversation on one wan. so some of the traffic goes out over one wan and some over the other, which is not good for things like voip. i am sure there must be some way to assign a device (i.e. a phone) to a particular wan port. in my case i run all the internet traffic over one wan interface and all voice traffic over the other
