Softphone 404 registration error

Hi,

I have a softphone from X Lite and it used to get registered to trixbox. I recently made some changes after I got the trial version of voicepulse. It started saying Registration Error 404. I disabled the modules from FreePBX. But it still does not work.

Now, here is the settings:

FreePBX Admin Settings:

Extension: 1003
Display Name: myname
secret: 1003
voicemail: enabled
voicemail password: 1003
Others are default

Outbound Route:
Default 9_outside with default Trunk Sequence ZAP/g0

Inbound Route:
Default any DID/ any CID with Set destination part set to Extension 1003

XLite Settings:

Display Name: myname
Username: 1003
Password: 1003
Authorization Username: 1003
Domain: Asterisk IP Address
Others are default

Can someone point me in the right direction? Am I overlooking some setting? Has anyone seen something like this before? Any help is greatly appreciated.

well, found the answer for

well, found the answer for the above question. i downloaded some sample sip.conf, iax.conf, extensions.conf files from voicepulse.com. That is the reason why XLite is not able to communicate with asterisk. Luckily, voicepulse also had me copy the files to a backup folder in /etc/asterisk. I copied them back to the asterisk folder and now XLite registers with the given extension.
