Zap Problems

Ok so here is the run down. We are having intermittent noise issues. When the problem occurs the line pops and hisses and neither party can hear anything else. It usually happens for a couple seconds and then clears up. Here is the relevant sys info....

Trixbox 1.1
Zaptel 1.2.6 and spinlock fix via kennonsoft.org and nerdvittles.com
Digium TDM400p with two FXO adaptors
Polycom 501s

I don't remember this being an issue with A@H 2.2. I upgraded from this version to Trixbox.

Any help would be appreciated.....

Re: Zap Problems

Zerok...are your FXO's connected to POTS lines, or some VoIP provider? Also, (at the most basic levels here) have you verified your FXO phone line connections, and perhaps even tried replacing the cables?

Re: Zap Problems

Ok this is going to be a little strange. Our phone service is through our ISP supplied via cable modem. The phone lines are VoIP until they hit our location where they then have a analog converter. From that analog convertor two RJ11 wires run to the zap card. I have replaced the RJ11 cables and the ISP tech just came out and checked the cable lines.

But we are still having the same problems.....
