Best way to view in-use extensions on trixbox 2.8

Hi,
I need a way to let my users know who is on the phone and who is free to take calls.
From reading the forums I gather that HUD3 and HUDlite do not work with trixbox 2.8.

Also my Flash Operator Panel (FOP) doesn't seem to work. When the extensions are in use the FOP buttons don't change. Nor can I seem to drag extensions to conferences. I've read that this is due to updates in the latest versions of Adobe Flash.

I've tried installing FOP2, but since I'm very new to linux I broke my trixbox install. Luckily I'm only working on a test box.

I've just rebuilt the trixbox and was about to install isymphony server and the freePBX admin module.

We are fine paying for a solution that works.

Anyone out there have a recomendation?

iSymphony and FOP2 are different applications but both work great.

Not to be sarcastic, but neither is easier to install than the other. Both have excellent install docs and free trial modes.

Why don't you try them both and see if you can get it running.

Does Trixbox CE have a solution to this.

I have had a new phone system installed at work and the comms company have sold me a box with CE on it, I didn't even know there was a pro version, he told me it was open source and millions use it. Now I am stuck with a system where I need a desktop app to see what extension is available or engaged.

Google and this forum doesn't seem to help, a few mention HUD 3 - Which I believe will not work on my version, some say ismphoney. Could someone please point me in the right direction..
