This is turning into a bit of a joke....
First we were told July, then August then October...... All of these dates have been in postings by Kerry - But still nothing.
My customers are happy to pay for Hud 3 and Hud 2 is so bad, but can we actually have a date that Fonality is going to stick to!
I cant log calls on HUD 2 as we are told to wait for Hud 3, my customers are sick of waiting.....
We will release HUD3 when it is ready. Not before. I'm sorry we missed our dates on this project but we just can't release this without it being perfect. HUD3 is a paid product so if there are any problems it will be a support nightmare. As a reseller I'm sure you are aware that when people pay for something they want it to work as advertized. :)
We will probably release HUD3 for trixboxPRO first. Once that is working we will release it for CE. The PRO version should be out soon.
I wish we had a date. The CE version is completely dependent on the PBXtra/trixbox Pro version getting finished first. On the plus side, Fonality corporate was completely switched over to HUD3 this week so we can make sure it is working properly under load and under real world conditions. This is a good sign that we are making significant progress.
