I am sure that the package manager will catch up....

But, since the move of VOIP Providers from the pull down to menu item I am unable to use the wizards. It says not installed and to install from the package manager. They don't show up.

Also, Michael said that one should avoid 1.4 ( it doesn't show up anyway - probably to prevent those doing a yum -y update hosing their install...)

Honestly, I get the choice - but is AsteriskNow really ready for use?

Don't get me wrong I like the direction. I am really going to need SLA.

Asterisk 1.4 is NOT ready

Asterisk 1.4 is NOT ready for use on production systems. This is according to Digium at this week's VON show.

I wasn't saying it was.

Kerry, I knew that one... I may not be the brightest bulb in the display but I wasn't saying that.

In fact, I bet it will be at least six months or more before it is ready.

Now, back to Beta3, I tried the upgrade to 1.2.17 by just checking that single upgrade and all the dependencies installed as needed. Very nice.

Really, do you want forum posts or bug reports when we find stuff?

As much as I check the

As much as I check the forums on a regular basis, there is a good chance something will slip by if it isnt in the bug tracker. This allows us to comment and follow the trail of a bug until we close it.
