Trixbox CE 2.6.2.3. Cisco 7940's. When a call is transferred via the attended procedure, there is a serious delay of about 3-5 seconds before the calling party can hear any audio. When the transfer is completed as a blind-transfer (unattended) there is no delay. MOH is enabled, and with an attended transfer - the extension receiving the final transfer will hear MOH for maybe a half second to a full second. Recording is also enabled, and has been disabled without any change in transfer delay. Any ideas?
Attended transfer delay
bump
Installed 2.8.0.2 on Firday30 Oct. Confirmed 3-5 Sec attended transfer time. Did not check unattended.
Whatsup?
Are you using Cisco phones as well? I have an Aastra phone that I put into the mix, and the delay still occurred. The transfer was going from the Aastra to a Cisco, so I don't know if it's vendor interoperability, or a Trixbox CE issue. My "Asterisk Dial Command Options" "tr".
No. I am using SNOM M3 and SNOM 300 Phones Mix (About 50 Extensions).
The strange thing is that i replaced a faulty server that was running 2.6.2.2 flavor faultlessly.
Another symptom: Just calling an internal extension also has the same time gap before initialization.
Weird indeed.
After adding attendant on no answer (*52) option on the extensions, the problem magically disappeared. Scary indeed.
Dietersmith, in English that means.......................what? Not trying to be a smart@ss at all. In my "General Settings" I have "Call Forward No Answer/Unavailable Activate" which is the *52 option. It's enabled, but beyond that, I have absolutely no idea of what you mean. Can you elaborate for the Trixbox challenged?
