I have just set up my first proper Trixbox CE by that I mean in a full company environment where it matters if it screws up plus as it has replaced a traditional PBX there are expectations and demands. Previously I have only used Trixbox for my own company with just a couple of users and when something went wrong I just rebuilt it with the latest version and set it up again.
Setup - HP Proliant DL120 with Sangoma PRi card, 20 plus Aastra 55i phones running latest version of Trixbox.
I am trying to keep the custom modifications to a minimum until I understand it all more fully.
Currently incoming calls route through Time conditions to determine if the office is open or closed if is open the call goes to a ring group for reception which then trips over to another ring group if not answered this all appears fine. If the office is closed a message needs to be given to that effect and a voicemail offered to be taken. Currently I set this up on the reception extension as the unavailable message and all was fine until we realised that it meant if reception was dialled directly internally and the phone wasn't answered they got the office is closed message so this wrong - what is the best way to do this.
We are using deviceanduser mode so that users can hot desk and login either from home or in the office - I noticed that if a user is logged in at home and then doesn't log out before going to the office they end up logged in at both locations - is it possible to tweak it so that the new log in replaces the previous log in ie user 100@ext-local SIP/200 instead of 100@ext-local SIP/200 & SIP/205
Thanks
