Hi good pple! I'd like to thank all of you guys for the responces; My trixbox is now working fine except for one little thing:

I created an IVR and wanted to point all calls coming from PSTN to this IVR. I have two trunks; One DAHDI for PSTN, and one IAX2 to link to another Trixbox. My PSTN line unfortunately connects to a PBX( so its basically an extension on a Hardware based pbx). I thought I should be able to call The line number from another extension on the Hardware PBX because I can dial out from my SIP phone to the extensions on the hardware pbx.

any help will be appreciated.

inbound route

You should be able to assign a DID to your Dahdi trunk, then create a inbound destination for that DID to the IVR. If your Trixbox is connected to an extension on the other system, from the other system, you should be able to dial that extension, and ring into the Trixbox. You might get callerid, but that depends on is your other system supports callerid on analog station ports. This callerid usually comes between the first and second ring.

Thanks man

Thanks man! I'd already done the DIDs but I realised that the analog extensions do not send CIDs so specifying DID on the inbound route was actually the problem! I removed it and it now works fine.
