Call recording

Has anyone noticed that if you have the "always record" feature on your extensions, it records all incoming and outgoing calls except for when you transfer the call. Is this right? It seems to be that asterisk does not continue recording the call once you have transferred it to another extension. Is there any way to fix this? Is there a work around?
