DAHDI Fax Problem

Hi All

When I fax into my trixbox system the system picks up the call and sees it is a fax call but soon after terminates with no fax beng recorded or sent.
Any ideas?

Did you try the information

Did you try the information mentioned at: http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-linux-asterisk-faxing ? I am going to move this to the Sangoma area as it is probably a simple configuration deal and the sangoma techs monitor and should be able to get you rollin along.

Hi, From the log here you

Hi,

From the log here you can see the software fax gets the fax and for some reason hangs up just as you say. So this looks to be an issue with the software fax that you are using. So the best idea is bounce the call back out to a second fax machine and see if the fax goes through. So the call diagram will be as shown below and this will test our card and its ability to transmit / receive a fax. Once this is proven good then you know it is the software and you can look into this or get the trixbox support to help you. If there is any issues please send an email into techdesk@sangoma.com.
