Hello All,

I'm looking for some help with a DTFM issue. My system was working fine when I had POTs lines going to my trixbox server. When I switch to use voicepulse for outbound calls I have now lost DTFM tones. So any business we call we are unable to get past the voice menu. Is there a setting i need to add in the config or something to change to allow me to get my DTFM tones working. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me

Perhaps if you use 'DTMF'

Perhaps if you use 'DTMF' tones it may work better.

@Scott LOL @bindtech Skim

@Scott LOL

@bindtech Skim through your trunk peer details to make sure your typo in this forum did not carry over when you were typing in the DTMF settings. It should look something like the following:

dtmfmode=rfc2833

Also, change your host and outbound proxy to nyc.voicepulse.com if the above does not work.

Someone else on the forum is

Someone else on the forum is having a similar issue http://trixbox.org/forums/trixbox-forums/sip-and-iax-trunks-and-p... so there is definitely something up with voice pulse. What version of asterisk are you using? If it's the same version as dbonilla, we can suspect it is an asterisk issue.

I had the same issues and

I had the same issues and checked all over and called voice pulse with no luck. From what I understand the issue is with the version asterisk. I'm using a work around to fix the issue.
trixbox 2.6.2.3
Voice Pulse

VoicePulse sets up 2 trunks so I'm using one for inbound and one for outbound.
Outbound:
dtmfmode=inband

Inbound:
dtmfmode=rfc2833
rfc2833compensate=yes

Hope this helps,
Rick
