Hi,

I am having problem with hangup delays. If someone is calling me from outside and hang up the phone, Asterisk will keep ringing until someone picks the phone up and close it. Why is that?

Thank you

Regards,
Jqtang

How are they getting to

How are they getting to Asterisk from the outside? What is the inbound route? Does the call come in through a SIP trunk, a TDM card, a SIP/TDM gateway?

My guess is that you are using a gateway and have not properly configured supervision but, it's just a guess. We need to know how the call gets to Asterisk.

I've seen this problem

I've seen this problem before and it's related to queues. Never got it fixed though. It was in Asterisk 1.2/trixbox pro I saw this issue.

I am new...

Hi,

The information i have is that, they installed "Sangoma RA200 Additional Remora & BackPlane2" and "Sangoma Analog Card with Echo Canceller A200 PClex". I am basically new to this company and training on Trixbox were not provided.

Astrosmurfer, how do I know how the calls get into Asterisk?

karyt3ch, where do you change the setting?

thank you

The devices that you are

The devices that you are describing are TDM cards.
In Asterisk, all calls come in via a trunk of some kind. Looking at your trunks will tell you what kind of connections you have, IAX, SIP, DAHDI, etc.

Your problem is not what I had guessed.

you are the pro

Hi

hei...you are good. With only this limited information, you know what's the problem.

I just looked into my trunks. It is showing,

Outbound Dial Prefix: ****
Zap Identifier: g0

others were left blank.

By the way, we are using SIP account.

Thanks

Hi, Step 7 at

Hi,

Step 7 at http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-linux-asterisk-debugging#analog_d... has full details on hangup detection. If this does not resolve your issue then please find out from your telco what type of hangup detection they are using. Then send an email into techdesk@Sangoma.com with full details.

I have solved my hang up

I have solved my hang up delay problem.

Basically, If you are staying in UK.

Call up BT on 0800800154 and talk to one of their technician and ask them to change your Disconnect Clear Time (DCT/CPC) to 800ms.

Thanks for the help marc.sangoma.
