Hello Everyone,

Please help me.

I find it difficult to setup my Digium tdm400p pci card.

My trixbox server is detecting the Digium tdm400p card alright. All the extensions I have created are also working fine with the soft-phone including IP-Phones but i don't really understand the how the Dial plan is created.

I hope someone can explain to me step-by-step.

I need help as soon as possible please.

thanks for everyone concern.

I suggest you read the guide

I suggest you read the guide in our wiki "trixbox without tears" it explains how to setup trunks and routes.

DAHDI config module for FreePBX; Complimentary Digium support

Digium provides complimentary installation support to registered customers. Just register your interface card and then open a support ticket.

Also, Digium created a DAHDI Config module for FreePBX that does the configuration work for you from the web interface. It's in the contributed modules section of their source code repository. It's also preinstalled in the FreePBX GUI that ships in AsteriskNOW.

trixbox 2.8.0.4 and digium tdm400p card setup

No one explained this and the wiki is out of date, but after searching forums at several sites for a few hours I stumbled on the set up steps that worked for me. After initial install from the ISO disk.

First, watch the final boot sequence and note the card is correctly recognized.

Next once fully up and running run pstn-setup from the trixbox menu. This will set up the FXO ports on your TDM400P card in dahdi_channels.conf

Then I finally found the utility name to run to set up the FXS modules it is /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf. This adds the FXS information to the dahdi_channels.conf file.

Now log into trixbox from the web address and add your extensions and trunks, inbound and outbound routes, and you have successfully set up your PBX.
