Internal Local & International Calls

Hi,

I have to install trixbox in office our office require following and i need help.

We have 5 PSTN Lines will be using Zaptel.

Executive >>> Internal Calls + Local Calls + International Calls
Office Staff >>> Internal Calls + Local Calls
Factory Staff >>> Internal Calls only.

Also I need to connect two Trixbox on same network but with different buildings which are connected and it's a Single LAN how do i connect two trixbox systems so that offices can stay connected locally.

How can I accomplish that using Trixbox I just have downloaded the latest stable version.

help will be appreciated I am in need of urgent solution thanks in advance.

Why do you need two trixbox

Why do you need two trixbox servers if you have LAN connectivity between the buildings?

You can download the FreePBX 'Custom Contexts' module to create the dial rules or if you like to do things by hand you can simply use a bit of Asterisk programming in the extensions_custom.conf file.

Thanks for the quick response but could you give me any link from where i can download the Custom Context Module.. or if you have any sort of sample dialplan code I would appreciate.

Well why i need to connect to TBs because LAN is single but Each company has it's on PSTN Lines and are installed in each building which is not easy to bring it to one building and company is more interested in having two servers.

I connected two server before but they were only asterisk boxes not trixbox but I don't how it will be done in trixbox because i am not an advance asterisk programmer specially macro and got my neck stuck in other things not getting enough time. I tried few available help but all i get is all circuits are busy please try again later.

Also got one more question..

I tried to enable auth method to database but it still shows me same error that db type is not database change it and then create accounts.

I enabled the database disabled httpd auth but no use.

I know there are so many questions but since trixbox in lot of people like me got lazy

Dear Scot,

Thanks for the tip Custom Context solved one of my major issue.

Connecting two box's is pending and AuthTYPE=database is still pending.

Thanks for the tip.

is it possible to use one channel from a 4 port fxo card for specific outbound route?
