Anyone get trixbox successfully running on any new series of Dell PowerEdge servers, utilizing PRI cards?
Servers in question are the Dell R710 or R610 or even R510.
I ran 2.6 successfully for a while now on 2900III without too much of a issue, except some local voice echo issues, which may be related to network, who knows.
Please let me know.. we are looking at upgrading and need a server that fits our standards of redundancy, etc... but need to work with Digiums PRI cards.

Anyone here run trixbox on new servers?
I don't run Trixbox anymore but I am busy installing on a new Dell R410.
Some comments so far -
CentOS 5.2 does not recognise the Broadcom network card - the driver can be built and installed manually.
I'm having an issue with Dahdi and this error BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 10s - I think it has to do with the version of Dahdi and the processor.
Otherwise I haven't got much further yet...

Got a R710 running here now no problem.. The Digium card caused some grief initially with the system as the drivers in Trixbox are outdated and incomplete. However after working on it for a bit, it is working stably right now.
I had to also use some of the IRQ -> CPU mapping assignments so that it works correctly. Basically messing with the SMP affinity.

As per network card drivers, the R710 must use different Broadcom cards as it was recognized right out of the box.
I have an R210 deployed at a site that has intermittent audio issues. The system is a SIP only system so it uses the ztdummy driver. I have tried a long list of things in an attempt to fix the issue. After much research I am pretty convinced it has a timing issue. I ordered a UT50 and I hope this will fix the issue. Th R210 is pretty much the lowest end rack server you can get so it may not be an issue with the higher end models.
