I just iherited an existing trixbox system with existing passwords and was wonder how can i get around them to reset them to manage the system. Can anyone help me!

I'm not sure which version you are using, but these commands from the CLI will help you out.
passwd-maint
This sets the master password for web GUI
passwd
This sets the root password for console login
