Hi everybody

I'm quite beginner with trixbox .So far I have install Trixbox CE + Openvox TDM400P With 5 Polycom 500 phones with Sip VOIP trunking for long distance calling . Its working fine . But Now main office wants me to do it to. They have fraction PRi 15 B channels & 43 DIDs. Also they have different department that uses separate Inbound numbers. they have a traditional pbc switch with a another voice mail device attached .My Q is
1. Is TRIXBOX CE + Sangoma T1 card be relaible & trustworthy ?
2. How hard it is to implement
3. What is the requirement for the PC to do the job ?
4. instead of doing all on Polycom IP phones for all 43 extension what is other cheaper way to do that ,Like using FXS port & the existing phones they have ?

Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Kunal

Trixbox is a good platform

Trixbox is a good platform for your requirements. However, I would suggest hiring a consultant to assist with rollout as it could be a bit complicated. I would highly suggest utilizing Sangoma hardware as they make some of the best cards in the business.

Hardware is totally up to

Hardware is totally up to you. We build/sell pre-configured boxes that are guaranteed to work perfectly with trixbox, otherwise you can always build a box yourself. I guess it all depends on the level of involvement you want with this project.
