SENDING a fax from trixbox?

I have trixbox using a zapMicro card (PSTN) able to receive faxes, convert them to .pdf files and email them to me. This is great.

Is there a reasonably simple way to enable me to convert files on my PC (Windows based) into a fax with a cover sheet and send completely through software? Word, Excel or scanned files.

If it is a 2 step process (set-up in Windows into files on the server and then a command line via putty to send the files) that would be great.

I'm not a Linux guru, but getting better. As much guidance as possible is appreciated.

Andrew

bump? Am I the only one who

bump?

Am I the only one who wants/needs this?
Since the computer can generate the tones to receive the fax, it strikes me that it should be easier to send the fax.

Is there an open source solution out there?

Thanks.
