Could anyone please provide with maybe a list of things required in order to setup
dialing an outbound number via an extension. I'm only running sip via Teliax I have no phones etc.. I have unlimited phone lines. From what I understand there is a few mehtods. But which is the best /easiest method.

I can make incoming calls just fine.
I setup an outbound route, but I'm not sure if I did it right, then I also put a cell phone number with a 9 at the beginning under misc destinations. Is that all I need to do?
Thats what I've done so far but when I press 1 for that extension I get an error saying all circuits are busy. Any ideas or thoughts on this would be great. Or if anyone would like to remote into my machine and have a look that would be great. I'm just so new at this I'm trying to get a handle on it. I've read lots of tutorials but can't seem to find anything that is straight forward for this specific topic. I've looked through and through the fourms as well. Any thoughts ideas or links would be great. Thanks

Just tested this setup..

to get an answer for you...

My set up:

TB 1.2.3
X--lite 3.0
cell phone :)
I set up a Misc destination to dial my cellphone. Put the number in as I would dial it myself. I have working in and outgoing calls to start with. I put an option in my IVR to press 3 for my cellphone, call in and hit 3 in the IVR. My cellphone rings. Nothing more to it. I don't know if you consider this a good answer but that's abou all there is to it providing you have an otherwise working setup.

Hoe this helped a bit!

If you are getting "All

If you are getting "All circuits busy" then the most likely issue is that your outbound route and or outbound trunk are not setup or working properly.

an # at the end of your cell phone number?
