Hello List,

I successfully setup a sipgate trunk and registered no probs. When I log into my account at sipgate.co.uk and look at 'connected devices' the remote server (sipgate.co.uk), is seeing my server's internal ip address ( as a trixbox device)?
My sip.conf contains:

externip=publicipaddress
localnet=internalipaddress/255.255.255.0
nat=yes

Ive tried setting up/enabling, milkfish sip proxy(as well), on my wrt54g/dd-wrt-voip router ,but still no luck.
I've researched several howto's on setting up the sipgate trunk and cant get past the remote server not seeing my server's public ip address.
I tried adding 'outboundproxy=wrt54grouteripaddress
to the sip.conf as well. ,,,no diff,,,
What do I need to unset,or change? Any ideas.
TB CE sees it's public ip in the admin/system status page.

internet>cable modem>wrt54g/nat>trixbox>sip clients

Thanks,
Barry

You don't need the proxy, it

You don't need the proxy, it is only useful for registering multiple remote phones to a trixbox server.

First of all stop editing sip.conf. Make a change somewhere and update your config, now add the settings to sip_nat.conf and restart with 'amportal restart' make sure you have the internal network number and no the internal network IP. Why would you hide your internal IP address in a post? How do you expect us to help you.
