Hi all,

I have a problem with Nokia E51 with trixbox.

My trixbox is 2.6.1 with latest updates.

I use E51 SIP phone for an extension of Trixbox

Outgoing SIP calls are perfect: can call other extensions/ landline phone/Sipgate....

The annoying problem is when E51 has incoming SIP calls. It immediately hangs forever ONLY(*) when I press the button to answer the call, and power button does NOT work. I have to take out the battery and reinstall it.

(*): I mean ONLY because you can choose to deny the call, and E51 is still working normally.

I tried another E51, with different SIP extensions, but got the same error. Other Endpoints (X-lite, Windows Mobile 5 device, IP phone..) work fine.

Please kindly help.

Thank you very much

Bao Nguyen

Thanks Surin for your

Thanks Surin for your information. I haven't tried it yet, but I guess this may be the cause.

Right now I'm using Fring on E51, and absolutely fine with the performance. Can receive/make SIP calls through Trixbox CE.

Cheers,

Bao Nguyen

Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help everyone. I fixed it by re-installing the e51 firmware. I then manually re-configured the sip settings. I only restored my address book from the backup. Everything works great now. Which is sad because I was very close to getting an Iphone...LOL. No I really love my e51, and trixbox.

Thanks again,
Drew
