Dear all,

I'm trying to configure trixbox CE 2.6.0.2 with a Digium TDM-400p with 4 FXO-ports connected to PSTN-lines. System works just fine, can call in and out on all lines (three PSTN-lines), but I'd like to configure ZAP/3-1 to route all calls to our support-number. In a previous version of trixbox, this was a breeze, but here i'm missing something: on the Inbound routes - add incoming route, I can't find the zaptel channel - box... How much of an idiot am I? a bit of help would be greatly appreciated...

thanks,

Bruno.

You have to use 'Zap Channel

You have to use 'Zap Channel DID's' you have to assign that channel a DID. Then you can route it using an inbound route. A bit more convoluted but much more flexible.

ou have to use 'Zap Channel DID's' ....

Could you please clarify this? I just loaded up 2.6.1 and I don't understand how to setup the inbound routes.
Thanks,
Henry

Go to the 'ZAP Channel DID
  1. Go to the 'ZAP Channel DID module'
  2. Assign a pseudo DID number 555xxxx can be used as it won't conflict with the dial plan.
  3. Use a unique DID per ZAP channel.
  4. Go to 'inbound routes'
  5. Use the DID set in step 2 and select the destination

That should do it for you.
