I have a Rhino R1T1 installed in my PC. As far as I can tell, all of the drivers installed properly; I can use 'cat /proc/zaptel/*' and it does list the Rhino card. I can use zttool and it shows the Rhino R1T1 card as Unconfigured. I can use ztcfg -vv and it shows

Zaptel Version: 1.4.7.1-3259

...

So, to the LEDs on the back of the card. They are flashing Green (2), Red (4), which, according to the documentation, means something about the firmware loading. I haven't done anything with the firmware for this card and I wasn't even aware that the R1T1 had a variable firmware (unless it's part of the drivers downloaded through Yum.)

Speaking of yum, I have retrieved the latest driver version through yum:
rhino-2.6.18-53.1.4.el5.i386 2.2.3beta3-2 installed

OK, well, all of this

OK, well, all of this appears to have been for naught. The card is showing a clean run condition now. Can that LED blink pattern stand for something besides loading a firmware module?

Anyway, now if anyone has any info on configuring the system to provide PRI trunks to a legacy PBX, I'd be most grateful. :)

How are you connecting the

How are you connecting the trixbox system to the other PBX? Usually I use trixbox to provide SIP trunks to a legacy system by connecting the trixbox system to the legacy system via PRI lines.

That is exactly what I am

That is exactly what I am trying to do. I am using a cross-over cable to connect my legacy PBX PRI card to the Rhino R1T1. I have actually gotten to the point where I can pick up on the PRI trunks and I get dialtone from my trixbox machine ... now I just need to know how to configure FreePBX to allow incoming calls to pass DIDs through to the legacy PBX.

I assume once I get dialtone from trixbox I can dial out using normal outbound rules in FreePBX, yes? I got the dialtone on the machine earlier and then I went to lunch ... gotta eat, you know? :)

Routing calls from legacy PBX

OK, how do I make trixbox send the call from the legacy PBX out through my IAX2 trunks? Currently, any number I try to dial out from the legacy PBX goes through my Catch All Inbound Route (which I guess is technically what it's supposed to do, but how do I use this to send these calls out through my IAX2 trunks?)
