HUD stopped running on Windows XP computer

HUD 3.5 was running for a few months on a PC, now it closes abruptly after starting: quick splash screen and gone. Runs fine on similarly configured computers in a small office. Uninstall/reboot/reinstall haven't resolved this. Any ideas?

Could be HUD is already running in the background. So when you try to start the application it shows the splash screen then nothing else.

Press Ctrl-Shift-U at the same time to bring HUD to the front.
