Private Branding of Pro CCE including phone setup and HUD

Hi.

We now have skinned the trixbox Pro CCE interface. However, is it possible to fully rebrand it as it says in the docs? Because when we need to setup phones, we still have to pu sNNNNx.trixbox.fonality.com. Is it possible to replace this with our own domain? Also, is it possible to have HUD reflect as a download from our domain, not trixbox.com because it has that feature in the branding section (links section) but after i point it to our domain it still shows trixbox.com instead of our domain.

And lastly, how do I set outgoing calls to automatically record as this is a requirement of one of our clients? Oh and is there any dialer that can be integrated, or suggest a dialer that can be used in conjuction with CCE edition as we also have outgoing campaigns?

Please advice.

Hi bangsters,

For your first question, you can use your own domain by setting up a CNAME record (anything.yourdomain.com) to point to sNNNNx.trixbox.fonality.com. Then your phones can use anything.yourdomain.com to connect to the host.

We are working on changing minor branding in the HUD page and will have an updated release to allow that.

There is currently no method to set outgoing calls to automatically record. This is a feature we are about to begin working on.

Regarding a dialer, I'll let others take that one on as I have not personally used any dialers in conjunction with the system, however I know many users have.

You could set up a cname on

You could set up a cname on your domain that points to the trixbox site. That should work, but I don't use pro, so I'm not real clear on how that works.

For the HUD thing, I thought there is already that feature in the branding section, under Links, where the HUD download can be changed. I already changed that but it still shows the trixbox domain when I click download. Anything I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: btw, in the CNAME, do I have to point it to sNNNNNx.trixbox.fonailty.com or do I have to replace NNNN with my actual account number?

I would assume you replace it with your actual account number. But the actual cname can be anything you want. If you make it your client's name they might get warm fuzzies.

Now for outgoing auto record. Any workaround for this? This is a requirement, if we do not have this we cannot use the software for the client. Please advice. Any workaround will be appreciated.
