Aastra 57i not picking up changes to demo-user.prf

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

I'm running Trixbox 2.8.0.4, Aastra 57i firmware 2.6.0.1007, XML Script 2.3.0.

I initially logged our phones in using the default demo-user.prf configs. I then modified topsoftkey 1 to look like the following:

topsoftkey1 type:callers
topsoftkey1 label:Callers

old config:
topsoftkey1 type:services
topsoftkey1 label:Services

I logged the phone out, clearing the mac.cfg, verified the local config still has its default config and logged back in. This recreates the MAC.cfg, but topsoftkey1 continues to display Services instead of callers. This is the same for all buttons.

Is there another config file that stores softkey configs other than MAC.cfg? Where does the XML Scripts pull softkey configs? Prior to 2.3.0 it always pulled from demo-user.prf.

Any ideas?

I've been through it and just went through it again. I changed the MAC.cfg to reflect the changes I want, reboot the phone and it works, but If I log that phone out, delete the MAC.cfg, verify cache entry is deleted, factory default the phone, then log it back in, the phone still reflects the changes I made in the MAC.cfg. This leads me to believe the phone's config is being cached elsewhere. I feel I'm missing something here. I've done this a hundred times with 2.6.2.3 and the manual for 2.8.0.4 explains the same process.

Any help would be appreciated.

Per section 5.3.6 of the

Per section 5.3.6 of the link I sent you templates are still contained in demo-user.prf. Nothing is cached. You can use the apply_prf script to reset the extension to the PRF values.
