Hi all,

I'm hoping someone from Aastra could help me out. I have seen that I can specify the hostname to use in the config file that will replace the default of .

I'd like to replace it with . Is it possible or can I only hardcode it with values? i.e. hostname: 2000-55i

Thanks,

I think the most

I think the most professional way is to configure your DNS to autogenerate a hostname.

Use Aastra's web configurator

If you use Aastra's web configurator you can manually set the "hostnme" under Network Settings.

At least I can under Aastra's 57i and 6757i and have the newest software for the phone you have.
