dialing from a callers list on the 9143i

we had to change our dial out prefix from 9 to 7. users were somehow diaoling 911. once we changed this they can no longer dial out from their callers list. i read through the admin and user guides but couldn't find anything pertaining to this issue. does anyone have any ideas?

You forced a behavior change on all your users because you couldn't figure out how to configure your outbound route on the server?

no, i did what the

no, i did what the customer asked. the outbound routes work fine. they were dialing 9 then 1 to make a call, turning their head to look at the number again, then pressing 1 again and it worked. they asked me to change it to 7 to prevent that.

Answer is in the admin guide

Actually the answer is in the admin guide, to achieve what you want you must modify the sip dial plan to add an outbound prefix (second part of the string) this will add the requested fix when redialing from the callers list.
Have a second look in the admin guide you will find all the details.
