We just upgraded all of our customer's phones over from firmware version 2.6.0.2019 to 3.2.2.56 over the weekend after months of extensive testing in the lab, however, it would seem as though we missed testing a feature. It would appear as though Aastra removed the 'Goodbye Key Cancels Incoming Call' option from the Web UI and even from the .cfg files as phones that had this flag in the .cfg files are now ignoring this option and the goodbye key hangs up on the incoming call instead of the active call. One possible workaround that we have found is to turn 'Switch UI Focus To Ringing Line' off but then CID information is not relayed to the end user.
This is a crucial feature for our customers that use DHSG compatible headsets. Has this option truly been removed or has it just been changed (potentially to a new name/value)? I am now running up against performing a roll back if it has been removed from all version 3.x releases, which through testing seems to be the case. I rolled back phones in the lab to 2.6.0.2019 and this feature is working again as intended.
The config file entry that I have is 'goodbye cancels incoming call: 0' Has this been changed, or has it been removed?
Thanks in advance.
